It all started with Scout
Scout was an aging Labrador who had stopped drinking enough water. Like many pet parents, our founder Emily worried every day. The vet’s advice was clear: hydration is health. But Scout ignored the bowl.
So Emily tried something different — a quiet fountain with fresh, moving water. Scout drank more. He felt better. That small change sparked a big idea.
dianu began not as a company, but as a promise: to give pets the care they deserve, starting with something as simple, and vital, as water.
Enough is enough
Our name, dianu, comes from an ancient word that means “it is enough.”
